Consumers have never had access to more information or more choices in terms of healthy food options. Yet, diet-related adverse health conditions are on the rise.

In this free Food for Thought dialogue, Jack Bobo (author of ‘Why Smart People Make Bad Food Choices’) will be joined by panelists including Jayson Lusk, PhD (Department Head/Distinguished Professor, Purdue University),Taylor Wallace, PhD (Think Healthy Group, George Mason University), Jennifer Orlet Fisher, PhD (Temple University professor and associate director of the Center for Obesity Research and Education) and Sweta Chakraborty, PhD (risk and behavioral scientist) to discuss some of the ways our minds and environment—from health halos to expanding portion sizes—are driving poor food choices and explore the potential of behavioral science to deliver better health outcomes without resorting to fad diets or popular science.
