Members of the IAFNS Food Classification Working Group and Writing Team attended this event to share insights and present IAFNS Principles for Food Classification.
The workshop was the first of two planned events aimed at identifying knowledge gaps in current food processing classification and nutrient profiling systems to allow evaluation of their combined impact related to physiological effects. The goal of this effort is to unify the science of food, including classification, nutritional quality, and processing impacts.
