The IAFNS Food Packaging Safety and Sustainability Committee supports the advancement of food safety and sustainability by promoting evidence-based risk assessment of chemicals in food packaging and promoting the expanded use of safe, recycled materials in food contact materials. The committee meeting will include updates on ongoing research projects in the areas of resin recycling, managing restricted substances, and achieving sustainability goals.
