The Institute for the Advancement of Food and Nutrition Sciences  is committed to providing science-based information in support of public health. Toward this mission, topics of interest to healthcare practitioners, as well as other food and nutrition professionals are addressed through educational events and webinars.

  • As an approved provider of the Commission on Dietetic Registration, many of IAFNS' webinars are approved for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) continuing education units (CEUs). A CEU certificate is made available after viewing the specific webinar.
  • In addition, these webinars qualify for Certified Food Scientist (CFS) recertification contact hours (CH). CFS certificants may claim a maximum of 1.0 CH for each webinar/session they view with a maximum of 8 hours a day.  For more information, please visit ift.org/certification or email ifscc@ift.org.
    • Of note, all videos available on the IAFNS website qualify for CEUs for CFS.
