The mission of the IAFNS Low- and No-Calorie Sweeteners Committee is to develop and communicate the science related to how the consumption of LNCSs can contribute to overall health and wellness. IAFNS convenes organizations with similar interests, research or positions to participate in an open dialogue during our annual stakeholder exchange. Representatives from organizations including USDA-ARS, the American Diabetes Association, the American Heart Association, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Center for Science in the Public Interest, Calorie Control Council, American Beverage Association, the National Salt and Sugar Reduction Initiative, the International Food Information Council, and others, will share research, perspectives, and positions with the aim to inform research priorities and consider collaborations.
