The satellite symposium will be held at the 22nd IUNS-ICN International Congress of Nutrition in Tokyo, Japan, December 06, 2022 from 9:00-11:00 JST.

Dr. John L Sievenpiper’s (University of Toronto) presentation will include information from the IAFNS Project: Effect of Low-Calorie Sweetener Intake on Glycemic Response.

The project investigated the effects of low-calorie sweeteners (LCS) on health, including its effects on glycemic response and diabetes. The goal of this work is to systematically review randomized controlled trials to determine the relationship between LCS and glycemic response in adults.
