Host-Microbiota Interactions: A Personalized Point of View
Virtual, United States
April 18, 2024
10:00 am – 11:00 am
Join IAFNS as we hear from Dr. Benoit Chassaing, Team Leader at INSERM located at Institut Pasteur in Paris, where his laboratory focuses on mucosal microbiota in chronic inflammatory diseases.
The central objective of his research team is to study the composition and function of the microbiota at the mucosal surface, in both health and disease states, and using both pre-clinical models and clinical approaches. In this presentation, Dr. Chassaing will cover recent advances made toward a better understanding of the central role played by mucus-associated bacteria in chronic inflammatory diseases, as well as the extent to which microbiota assessment will enable, in the coming years, precision nutrition and medicine.
After the webinar, the IAFNS Gut Health Committee will engage in-depth with the expert to consider priority research questions to address as part of the committee program. To learn more, and to join us this portion of the scientific program, please email email@example.com.
